Work was eminently passable today - I embarked on my latest enthralling novel, entitled "QFAS Keystroke Procedures for Northern Trust Europe". As the name suggests, you simply won't be able to put it down after you buy one of the 7 million copies that will most certainly go into print. The mood in the office was suitably jovial for a Friday. Lady Amaia retrieved her Cadbury's Crunchie ice-cream from the kitchenette freezer, and whilst she enjoyed it very much, the exploding candy kernels did nothing to blitz her cough, which has been officially upgraded to Swine Flu by the Office Gossip Politburo.
Despite making a few enquiries, participants in a post-work alefest were not forthcoming, prompting whoops of joy from my liver. Homeward bound to Eastern Wall then, where the final episode of the Fire House Beef A La King episode awaited, setting the scene for an evening of splendid chillage.
