Pleasant as it was, today had no distinguishing features to it, so time to have a brief word about the delicious Chicken Fillet Baguettes (€2.29) from Dunnes Stores that have become a luinch staple of late, together with a soft-drink-cup full of wedges (€1.70). That is all.

Day 257 - Wednesday, September 14th, 2011
Interesting shenanigans afoot on the River Liffey these days, with the addition of a desert island near the Sean O'Casey Bridge, on a temporary basis apparently, and all in the name of art. Jolly amusing it looks though, and it has done well to survive Monday's near-hurricane! Apparently the artist is living on it for a week - hopefully Sealey the Squealy Seal comes a-calling before he departs.
