Day 242 - Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

Cineworld was re-visited this evening for the first time in months and the chosen cinematic offering was Super 8 (6.5 out of 10) which was an entertaining romp that was a cross between E.T. and Stand By Me. Well acted, good storyline, very far-fetched in places. As it is coming towards the end of its run, there was pleasingly only about 20 other people in attendance, and mercifully none of them were beastly guffawing urchins.Great success!

Providing wonderful entertainment on the LUAS ride home were two drunk or drugged-up ladies who were heading on the ferry to Holyhead to buy a bottle of vodka. Without exaggeration, they told each other every 20 seconds that they were starving and couldn't wait to go to the chipper, and bizarrely they got off at Spencer Dock which is 2 miles from the ferry port and a mile from the nearest chipper. Hilarious space cadets!
