What an unparalleled delight to arise this Monday morning for a week's work! But hey!, the sun is shining brilliantly, and there is a modicum of warmth in the air to boot. I have deemed this to be fat-free week, for excrements and giggles, and it gets off to a magnificent start with weetabix and low fat milk for breakfast, Chicken Jambalaya for lunch, and a newly-invented dinner of fusilli, pasta sauce infused with hot sauce, black pepper and garden peas, which, it transpires, is actually bleedin' d'lish!
Completing the month's cinematic viewing is Animal Kingdom (4.5 / 10) - an Australian gangster movie of sorts, which features fantastic performances from many of its characters (the lead, the mum and Guy Pearce), but suffers from a plot that sags at times and an ending that doesn't really make sense. Worth a watch on DVD though.
