Day 118 - Thursday, April 28th, 2011

Day passed into evening, and with it the arrival of the most magnificent sporting ocasion of the week, Thursday Night Darts Club. Five athletes were present at the start of proceedings at 6.30pm and stayed until the conclusion at 11pm, with each earning significant achievements during the evening - Danny The Swede and Concacaf both leapt a number of places up the World Championship Rankings, with the latter winning all six of his Bronze Medal shoot-outs - a TNDC record. Sparky Sparks ascended to 4th overall at the expense of the absent Austin "The Iceman" McEvoy, who was off with wifey Joanne collecting his wedding album from Joan and Olivia.

John "The Equaliser" Delaney scored another bagful of points to open up a further yawning gap atop the overall leaderboard, whilst I won tonight's title, with a mere 2 points to spare over John - whoop whoop! It's my 28th title and as ever, the sweetest yet. The victory was celebrated with the purchase of a Trio (chips, curry sauce and rice) on the walk home, 50% of which was eaten. Given that half of a d'lish chicken and red pepper pizza was gorged at TNDC half-time, it was perfect preparation for the end of month weigh-in in 2 days time.
