Day 232 - Saturday, August 20th, 2011

Call it jet-lag, call it athletic excellence, but today's chief achievement was establishing a new 2011 record for the Latest Time To Arise from Slumber - 4.45pm - whoop whoop! What little of the day that remained was blissfully confined to barracks, consuming a heavenly feast of baked beans, fried onions and fish fillets, all swirled in intoxicatingly gorgeous hot sauce, and watching a compendium of pap-TV, most notably the triumphant return of the X Factor, which featured a stunning rendition of Your Song by Janet Devlin. A star in the making for sure.
