Day 100 - Sunday, April 10th, 2011

So here we are - 100 days of blogging! Thanks to everyone for reading and to all those responsible for the 5,000+ hits achieved to date. Particular thanks to all those who have given the blog such positive feedback - it is hugely appreciated!

The morning got underway with a drive down to the homeland of Gallonbawn, made delightfully speedy by the Port Tunnel, the M50 and the M3. It was great as ever to see Mum and Dad, and Shane and Suzetta came over from Lavey for dinner too. It was my first time to see Suzetta with her bundle of joy, which has been behaving rather feistily, apparently - that's a McEvoy alright!

Dinner was the usual scrumptious affair - roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes with home-grown chives, and veg, followed by home made apple tart and ice cream - bleedin' d'lish! After much chat and chillage, it was time to head back to The Big Smoke to watch the final round of The Masters, which will be long remembered for Rory McIlroy's loss of a four-stroke lead to finish 8 strokes behind - nice to see him philosophical about it afterwards and fingers crossed he'll win one or more Majors in the near future.
