Day 109 - Tuesday, April 19th, 2011

Evening arrived, and with it, time to blood in some new athletes to the wonders of Metro Golf. Playing inddor golf for the first time, Enda, Eoin and Ed (The 3 Es) coped well with the stern task set by the breezy Pebble Beach course. Former international athlete (I actually use the term in its literal meaning in this instance) Enda got off to a roaring start, suggesting his 36 handicap was far too generous, although the effects of five pint bottles of Bulmer's did stymie his scoring efforts towards the round's end although he did amass a magnificent 38-point score to ensure victory. Ed got the hang of things towards the end in particular, amassing a creditable 20 points, and there were also green shoots for Eoin who had previously only played Pitch and Putt. I had a decent round with 34 points off a handicap of 29.
