Day 101 - Monday, April 11th, 2011

After weeks spent correcting beastly examination papers, this evening marked a welcome return to cinematic pleasures, on the double, naturlich. First up was Source Code (4.5 / 10) - a rip-off of Memento and Groundhog Day which was strangely pleasant to watch, despite having moon crater sized holes in the plot and appalling script and acting from the very many bit-actors involved, especially the ridiculously hammy Source Code Project boss. Due to scheduling more than anything, next up was The Room-mate (6/10), a frat teen scary movie flick, so expectations were greatly diminished but surprisingly it was a very enjoyable romp with excellent acting from the ladies and spoiled only by the dreamy hunk actor type whose gomey pearly grin demanded multiple head-punches.
