Day 102 - Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

After much anticipation, the first Tuesday Night Golf Club major of the year - the Northern Trust Open, was staged at Metro Golf, featuring 6 athletes. It was a tight low-scoring affair, with just 7 points separating first (Danny The Swede) and joint last (me and English) on the fiendishly difficult Cog Hill course. It was the usual up and down affair for me, scoring 9 points on the front nine and 17 on the back nine, although normally it's the other way around, due to the refreshing capacity of Heineken. Highlight of the round was securing the Closest To The Pin accolade with a shot to within 19 feet of the hole - great success! Onwards to The Oarsman for celebratory pints of plain and much post-match discussion, heated in the main.
