The commencement of a second week at work and all continues to go magnificently. Becoming a regular lunch-time fixture is a trip to The Clarendon for its 2-course €8.95 - sure where would you get it?! Cream of Mushroom soup followed by Roast lamb with fresh mint sauce, potatoes peas and carrots went down an absolute treat.
I stayed late at work for a conference call at 8pm and bridged the gap by correcting the repeat examination papers for the Fund Accounting & Valuation module of the Investment Funds Certificate. "Please pass me - my job depends on it!!!", uttered one candidate on their script. He/she scored 37% - the cretin should have thought about doing some study, given the precarious nature of their current employment and its dependency on exam success.
