Day 188 - Thursday, July 7th, 2011

After work, Dom invited Brian Colin and me to his apartment on Rue De La Montagne, only a ten minute walk from the hotel. We ascended to the very funky rooftop terrace, equipped with high tables and stools, perfect for the concoction of cocktails with our ingredients of vodka, Pama (pomegranate liqueur), champagne and fruit juice - bleedin' d'lish! Conversation was lively, the sunny mid-70s sunshine was glorious and the views of the city were spectacular.

Long after sundown, we moseyed down the hill and into Downtown, to 3 Amigos Mexican restaurant, and imbibed some potent Margheritas. Somehow I thought that ordering Chicken Enchiladas with a chocolate-based sauce would be a good idea - it wasn't, the sauce was truly vile, and what was underneath didn't seem the Mae West either. But it did naught to sully a truly splendid night's entertainment.
