Day 174 - Thursday, June 23rd, 2011

A shining example of the fine type of company that Maples FS is came this evening with an after-work office welcome party for myself and another new joiner Steve. Endless pizza, beers and prosecco was on the bill of fare and it served well in getting the banter flowing. At 9pm we adjoined to The Hairy Lemon pub for a couple of Guinnesses, and from there onto Dakota for a medley of cocktails. Great to see that my new colleagues also knw how to have a good time. At about 12.30am, some hardy bucks went onwards to Flannery's but not being a fan of the place and possessing a modicum of sense, I took a taxi home.
