Day 181 - Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Lunch was taken in the Clarendon, becoming a semi-regular staple with its alluring 2-course €8.95 delights. Service was on the slow side today, but when it did come, it produced fine cram of mushroom soup and szechuan chicken with rice and chips.
The 91st Thursday Night Darts Club served up double ranking points for its attendees and young James "The Peach" Leach ultimately streaked to victory after a close 4-way affair for much of the night. No less than 12 athletes were in attendance with rookie Aaron "The Pain" Gaynor and Mark "Maverick" Delaney in particular putting in much-improved performances, gaining vital TNDC World Championship points. My performance was my worst in TNDC history, signalling appropriateness that a 6-week sabbatical is upcoming, although without question, the TNDC nights will be sorely missed.
